Adventures

We are going on an adventure. Friends, you might not be hearing from me for a couple of weeks. Josh got a crazy job offer to go "clean up" a pipeline in Wright, Wyoming. Soo, we are packing up the fifth wheel and headin out of town. I find this a small blessing in disguise because we will be gone for about 6 weeks and that is how long we are going to have to wait for our house in Rock Springs. I will be without tv, internet, more than 10 gallons of hot water, and a large fridge. Dont' get me wrong though, I am excited to go. I have been staying with my parents and my aunt since we moved back and I am getting a little restless, even though I very much appreciate all they have done for us.
Update: We may never find out what we are having. I am having some frustrations, but we may be having a girl? Yes that is a question mark. We went to the doctor yesterday to see what we might be having and no luck. This is what the doc said:
"Well I can't see any boy parts, but I also can't see the girl part because your umbilical cord is running right between the legs. It may be a girl, but I can't be sure."
Alayna: "So can you give us a percentage?"
Doc: "Well I'd say its a little over 50%."
Huh?!!?
Alayna: "Should we start buying girl things."
Doc: "Oh no, stick to the greens and yellows. Rainbow colors too."
Our doctor is sort of a rainbow child/hippie lady. She wears grandma snowboots over her scrubs and our baby is "angel baby".
SOooo there is like a 52-55% percent chance we are having a girl. I guess that is the botton line.
We did buy a take home from the hospital outfit today and a little onesie and sox. Here they are:

Adventure is right! Where is Wright anyway? Sounds familiar...but I have no idea where it is. Sorry about the sexless baby, that would be frustrating! Maybe his boy part is just so big, they mistook it for the umbilical cord! Ha ha!

Hi Alayna, it's Katy (Behunin) Redmon. I was doing a little Blog stalking (that sounds so harsh), and I saw that you are going to Wright, small world. Tim and I will be there this weekend. My brother is a teacher there, and his kids are both having a birthday this weekend. It will be an adventure for you guys, however, an exciting adventure... I'm not so sure.
P.S. Congratulations on the baby. It took us 3 ultrasounds to find out what we were having. I feel your frustration.
