Stubborn

Eliza did not want to take a nap the other day. I would lay her down and she would stand right back up. I knew she was tired so I left her in there for a couple minutes. I went back in to see if she had fallen asleep, and sure enough she was! Just not in the traditional position.

Yes she is sucking her thumb:0 I don't know what to do about that.

We also had some killer dessert that night. I recreated Macaroni Grill's dessert ravioli. Deep fried snickers. Wrapped in pastry goodness. With ice cream. With little caramel chocolate things. With love.

Can I change my mind on the plan for the BBQ? Can you bring that yumminess and forget the drinks? Oh nevermind...I wouldn't want to share with anyone. I think we'll be inviting you over soon and assigning YOU the dessert! CUTE baby!! Thumbsuckers make the BEST babies, so don't stress about it yet... wait until she's sucking it during storytime in Kindergarten!

I remember days like this! But what can you do sometimes! Don't worry about the thumbsucking just yet. The warm weather is nice. I am glad to be away from the cold and snow!!

I love dessert ravioli from Macaroni Grill!! And what you made looks just like it and so yummy!
Eliza is so darn cute and the thumb sucking (I am sure) makes her cuter. I love thumb sucking babe's! Can't believe she will be one in just 2 months!!

Wow, those look yummy. You should not show those to a very pregnant woman. I can't stop thinking about them. Tay was a thumb sucker. She stopped, and had no ill effects. At least she soothes herself, and you don't have to go searching under the crib for a binky.

Eliza is so stinkin cute!! I literally tried to force some of my kids to suck their thumb....anything to calm themselves down but it didn't work:) Sometimes when they are so tired they fight it that much harder. Sorry we missed you guys this weekend, we will have to get together next time!

Alayna, she is darling. My mom had some thumbsuckers and she said she would have all of her babes be one if she could, so not to worry. About the camping...she slept better in the tent than she had all week in her crib. I don't know what it was. I think part of it was because she hadn't napped well during the day. I would say if she is a good sleeper go ahead and try it. Also, you asked about her hair a while back if it was curly. It has some curl but I help it a little by doing some scrunching. I don't do the gel thing though because like you said, the carseat totally kills it. I use lotion because it can get smashed and then you just have to scrunch it a little bit more and you are good to go. Sorry for the epistle! Hope this helps.
