6 more weeks

I'm still here, sorry for the long time no blog. We have been really busy lately unpacking and plus we didn't have the internet until Friday. Josh and I went on a little mini vacation to Jackson and Yellowstone and then to Logan for a couple days while I went to the doctor. It was a pretty fun little get-away, and very relaxing. The trip to Yellowstone was very adventurous and for a moment I didn't think I was going to come back with a husband. Are you ready for this? (I know all of you who know Josh are wondering what the adventurer did, here goes)

Story:
While we spent the whole day in Yellowstone, Josh wanted to see a grizzly bear. He kept getting really mad at the National Geographic channel and how they always show grizzly bears walking across the roads or eating food by someones camp, and he has never seen one at Yellowstone. All the time we were driving around we were eagle eye searching for a bear. But, alas there was not a bear in sight. We saw all the usual like the buffalo and the elk and deer, but no smoky the bear. So our Yellowstone was coming to a close and we were headed back to Jackson. As we were getting closer to town, we saw a bunch of cars along side the road trying to see something. You guessed it. Someone had seen a bear and they were all waiting for it to come this way. Whoever saw it said it was walking this way and we should see it soon. So we waited and waited and no bear. This other guy comes over to our car and him and Josh decide to see if they can go into the little field to see the bear coming. So Josh and this guy go down the embankment through some willow trees and cross a small stream. They are looking at something behind some willow trees and see the bear. I ask if they can see it and Josh says, "yeah come look." So I am heading down across the little creek, and I hear in the background, "Oh great, now a pregnant lady is going down there." I am thinking, "Its okay lady, I am from Wyoming." Yeah right. So I go down to where Josh is, and look for the bear thinking it is like a mile away and wham. The bear is like right there. A grizzly bear eating something. The bear was maybe half a football field away. So I decide I don't want to be dinner and run back to the car. I try to get in but the door is locked and Josh has the keys in his pocket. In the meantime more people are gathering, and the guy Josh went out there with decides they are a little too close to the bear and he comes back. Not Josh. Josh decides to go closer to the bear for a better picture. I am starting to freak out a little because everyone around me is freaking out. "What is that guy doing?", "Someone needs to tell him to get back." "Who is that crazy guy out there." One lady from Jackson was actually going to call the game warden. I am just sitting there by myself thinking yes that crazy man is my husband. Then I start to hear some whistling. Josh is walking closer to the bear AND whistling to him so he will look up at Josh. So by now everyone is freaking out and I decide I cannot watch Josh get eaten by a bear. I go back down to the first willow trees and yell at Josh to come back. Of course he was annoyed and says there was nothing to worry about and he knows more about bears than anyone there. I kind of freaked out a little. But he is alive and thats all that matters. I just told him I will never go back to yellowstone with him again if he wants to track bears that are eating their dinner.

Sorry that was a long story, but the most eventfull thing that has happened.
Here are some pics of the nursery and our house (just the kithchen)

The crib I absolutley love.

The bedding. This is not a very good picture, but the bedding is green and brown. I didn't want anything pink and frilly so I love it.

Here is a picture of the kitchen, also not a very good one. I love the kitchen it is big even though it may not look like it, and there is tons of counter space.

Wow, I love your house, your crib, and the bedding!! The funnest part of having a baby, is shopping for them. I'm glad your husband is okay, and didn't get eaten. That sounds like something Ben and Bryan would do, but my husband all city!!

Thanks for the comment on my blog. I totally remember Brother Wray. I loved him as a Seminary Teacher. I knew a guy at Ricks from Malad named Eric, but I can't seem to remember his last name at all. I haven't heard from him forever, so I don't know if it's him or not. That's pretty cool, though. Good luck towards the last of your pregnancy. Pretty exciting!!

How about a picture of the bear miss Alaynia? If Josh got so close, we need to see a picture of that bear! I am glad that you are all in one piece, it sounds fun. I feel the same way as Josh. How many million times have I been to Yellowstone and I have never seen a bear either. Stinkin Discovery Channel, let write them a note. I LOVE THE NURSERY AND THE KITCHEN. I am really jealous. I yearn for a house.

Oh, yes another typical Josh adventure. That sounds JUST like him. I'm glad neither of you ended up as dinner! Your house is adorable! If we weren't coming to the valley so late on Friday night, we would want to stop and see it! Can't wait to see you!
